This confirming code is still in the US version and plays sound if you enter Left, Left, Left, B, B, B, A, A, A, A, A, A, A, B, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Down, Down, which is full version of the continue code with one more button added. But since in this version the Continue code was shortened just to 8 symbols, this button code isn't much helpful anymore.

(FIX) Super team:
Select the "Make Team" option from the main menu. Then press Down, Right, Left, Down, Down, Right. Doesn't matter what team strength you are select after that, so just let it be at the "?" option by default. Press A to enter the team name edit screen. A team name "WHEN ISNT IT?" will be displayed. Change it to "WHEN IT IS." including punctuation, then select "END" and now enter a real team name. Complete the team making procedure. Now, team you've created has a lot more power than any other teams.
(FIX) Women's team:
Select the "Make Team" option from the main menu. Now, move the cursor to the "Veterans" strength option, then select any other option. Repeat selecting and deselecting the "Veterans" three more times, so this should be a 4 times in total you've selected this option. You can now select any other than "Veterans" strenght to your new team, just don't select the "Veterans" option anymore. Press A to enter the team name edit screen. A team name "WHAT IS A WREN?" will be displayed. Change it to "A BIRD." including punctuation, then select "END" and now enter a real team name. Complete the team making procedure. Now, team you've created will be consists of woman instead of men.
(FIX) Super women's team:
Combining two cheats above will give you the Super women's team after all. First you need to enter the Super team cheat sequence. Note, that while you doing this, you've selected the "Veterans" team once already. When done, do the same procedure as in the second cheat of selecting deselecting the "Veterans" option 3 more times. Press A to enter the team name edit screen. First you'll be asked "WHAT IS A WREN?", write a correct answer, select "END", then you'll be asked "WHEN ISNT IT?", write a correct answer one more time, then you'll be finally asked about the real team name. When you complete the team making, you'll obtain a Women's team with maxed out parameters.

During the ending's staff sequence, hold Start on controller 1 to make one of two characters running at the bottom of the screen. The character type depends on your ending type: for two good endings this is a stage 2-3 boss Catwoman, for two bad endings this is a stage 1-2 boss.

(FIX) Cheat mode:
To enable a cheat mode you must meet a couple of requirements. First one is to play the game at least a couple of minutes, to be more specific: at least for one background music loop, the cheat won't trigger before that. The second one is the last killed enemy should be Lurker (grey enemy that fires powerful missiles), doesn't matter when or how you kill it, just don't kill anyone after that, or you need to find another Lurker. The third reuirement is the power meter and the energy tanks should be full. As soon as power meter drained very quickly, the best time to do a trick is right after using the Energy Tank item, so keep it until now and equip before you going to enable this cheat. Fourth reuirement is to have exactly 62 bombs, it's easy. And finally fifth requirement is to face the player to south. So, now to do a trick you must collect 62 bombs, kill Lurker, equip the Energy Tank, turn your face South, use the Energy Tank then immediately press Up + Left on controller 2. That's it, the cheat enabled. No Megaton Bombs or Inventory involved. Some effects are immediate and permanent: any items are available now and infinite, bombs are infinite too. Press Select to enter the Items menu, hold B on controller 1 then hold Select, while holding B + Select you can move the obstacles, release to return to normal mode. And finally, press Up + Left + Select on controller 1 to enter the stage select mode. Press A or B to change a level, then press Start.

All pressed buttons from both controllers in this game are combining to the one common button code, so it's doesn't matter which controller do you use. For example, the button A pressed on controller 1 is the same as being pressed on controller 2. This means that any button code combination can be pressed in many different ways, also it means, that you can press combinations, impossible to a single regular controller, like Left + Right combination.
So, to enable cheat mode you must press Up + Down + Left + Right + A + B + Select at the title screen, combining the buttons from both controllers as you wish, then press Start. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Start a new game, then choose Raos (the boy on the left). Go to the store, stand before the Crystal and press A. You'll get a free Armour. Go back to the house and choose Raos again, but this time, wear the armour you just got for free. Leave the house and deplete your magic points completely. A sound will be heard again. Go back into the house, place the cursor on the grandfather painting on the wall and at the same time hold Left + Right + B also combining a buttons from two controllers as you wish, the cursor should stay in place. While holding, press A. If done right, a sound should be heard for the third time. Now you'll have max items and if you die, you'll come back to life, but maximum 4 times.
This also activates a simple Sound test. Being in the house, put cursor on the picture on the wall and press A to cycle through the game music.

(FIX) Sprint race skip:
Due to specific of the program design, there is possible to abuse some features to easily win the Sprint Race mode. Start a new Sprint Race mode (third option), enter a name and select a car with the password, then select game type (the last one "SUPER A" will give you the real ending). During normal game, every course consist of two parts, two qualify and one sprint race. You can retire from any course by press Select, but you get no points and will be last in the list. Now, just before the start of every sprint race part (results of the qualify part doesn't matter, so you can skip it), try to press A + Select at the same time, so you start a new race and immediately retire from it. If done right, the game won't init the racers list, but skip immediately to the result calculation, using the empty tables. This will turn all cars into default ones called "RALLY-X", all racers are retired now, as well as you. But points calculation and sorting routine will place YOU to the top of the ranking list! If you continue this operations for every course, you win! The same bug can be done with the "Taikyuu" race, but in this mode, there should be at least one winner. If all cars are retired, the race is over, so you just can't abuse this trick here.

At the mode selection menu, hold Select and press A or Start to enable the slot mode game type 1 or press B to enable the slot mode game type 2. The mode name will change to "SLOT". The slot mode will force 2 player game. Here you will play the regular Othello game, but both players can only put the stones at the random locations, instead of the selected ones. In the game type 1, the location is selected with the random dice roll. Press B twice to stop two dices and put a stone. In the game type 2, press B while a star cursor is jumping randomly on the field to put the stone at the place where the star were located at that moment.
This cheat remains in the US version, but actually does nothing, except changing the mode name to "SLOT", forcing 2 player game, and selecting the stone pickup method in "SLOT GAME", descibed below.

The game has a programming bug, which may cause the immunity to the spider enemies. Every time you take damage or lower it, the damage progress bar is filled or drained accordingly. Press Select during the progress bar animation period to show the items screen and then press Select again to return back to the game. This causes the damage change process to abort. Which means you may not only loose some life points, when refill process is interrupted, but either stop taking additional damage. But most importantly, this stops the spider enemy collision code to detect the collision with main character, rendered the Dizzy immune to spiders for some time. Untill you take another damage or restore it in the normal way. It can be done either after the fruit eaten or when spider itself is touched.

Then, select the second character from the password string, press Down up to 27 times (the last valid letter is や). The first 11 numbers will be the songs, the next 17 are sound effects. The game will likely crash if you select more than this.

Start a new game, instead of the first level password "HI__KIDS", the password "FLAVE___" will be displayed. Enter this password. From now, instead of scores, a string "CHEAT" will be displaying. All levels from now are unlocked and free to play. The same effect can be reached just by entering the following password without any cheats. Every time you enter this password, the cheat flag toggles on and off even after reset. When the cheat flag is off, the secret password only works as Level 5 password, which normally can't be accessed with password.

There are several secret developer credits may be found in the last 7th level of the game. Most of them are hidden and must be revealed only via bombing a certain location in a particular room. The rooms in the level are numbered from the top-left corner from 0 to 7, left-to-fight then top-to-down. Here is the full list of the messages with it's locations:

By default the lives are infinite during the game, only timer is counting. To switch to the harder mode, at the title screen, hold Right + Select and press Start. This will limit your lives to only 10, no matter if timer isn't over.

When your score exceed limit value, game is permanently over. Normally "time attack" mode ends when you get 10000 score points, but with this cheat you can change this limit up to 9000000 points.

At the title screen, press Start when "normal game" is selected then quickly hold Select while cursor is blinking.
(FIX) Zanki Attack:
At the title screen, press Up + A + B + Select + Start. Game will start with 50 lives, enemies is releasing a suicide bullets and score is ranked by remaining lives.

(FIX) Free move ball:
Before every round, before ball appears in the slot, there is a message with current player number will flash on the screen for 8 seconds. While it flashes, hold Select on the corresponding player's controller for at least 4 seconds or more. When ball is appear, press A to fire it, it should turn red on the field if done right. Now press Select on the same controller to stop it or Start to make it moving again. When stopped, use D-Pad on opposite controller to move ball to any place of the table. Additionally, do the previous operations, but when ball is appear, before pressing A, hold Start for 1-2 seconds, then fire it. The color of the ball will turn green instead. The only difference between two modes, is that at the Cyborgs screen (after entering the gates in the third screen), the red mode will be switched off, but a green one doesn't.

For example, if you loose at round 20, you'll continue at 16 round. All rounds above 36 will continue from 36 round.

There are some debug features that can be accessed via secret flag in the password. You can make the password with this flag set using the password generator below. When used, during the game, while walking on the locations:
On controller 1, press Select to enable a debug teleport. Hold B and press Up or Down to change the left number, or hold A and press Up or Down to change the right number. Press Select again to warp to the selected location.
On controller 2, press A to obtain all items, weapons and shields, or hold B to enable a free walk mode.
